Billy's Texas Bbq - Boston

I ordered from this restaurant twice in one week and it was amazing. I live just a 4-minute walk away but sometimes choose to drive there. The food is always fast and delicious, and I thoroughly enjoy eating there.

The BBQ chicken breast was a hit with its tasty sauce and just the right amount of sweetness and pepper. The chicken slices had a nice char on them and there were plenty on the plate for the price. The collard greens, however, had an overpowering pepper taste and large leaves that were not to my liking. The lack of garlic flavor was disappointing. The French fries were decent but should not be placed next to wet sides like the greens. It would be great if they added mac and cheese to their menu to complement any BBQ meal.

Beef was hard. The Bbq sauce was raw. I was so disappointed that I didn't even want my money back. Everything was disgusting. The chicken was not cooked and burned. The Bbq sauce tasted sour as if they just threw it there. The potatoes in the potato salad were hard and tasted as if it were not even cooked. So disappointing. Never again.

I placed an order for two small steak and cheese lime zones over the phone, but was confused when the person taking my order asked if I wanted something else. When my friend picked up the order, we were surprised to find that they had mistakenly given us two steak and cheese subs instead. We didn't have time to go back and correct the mistake. I was also disappointed that they didn't repeat my order back to me or give me an estimated wait time. When I order a steak and cheese, I always ask for cooked onions, mayo, lettuce, tomatoes, and pickles, so I was not happy with the mix-up.

Went for some ribs and chicken and after a few bites of everyone, I wish I had bought more! And the owner/owner, who often together as her husband, covers the register, is a hard, all business and friendly lady!
