Not sure what the issues were but hopefully just a bad night. Was really bummed can't reliably recommend them anymore for north end.
This place is small and usually really crowded so I’ve never tried it but I went yesterday for an early lunch and it was great! The Paul Revere pizza was so good and I especially recommend the pumpkin ravioli! The sauce they make it in is SO good, I want to go back just for this dish! My mom and aunt also really enjoyed their pistachio martinis!
We came on nice summer day when all the folding window-walls were open. It was very comfortable place to be. The restaurant was busy, but fortunately did not have long lines like some others in the area. The Saint Agrippina pizza was very good, and the kids enjoyed the cheese pizza and penne with meatball from the kids menu. The tables are pretty crowded together, but the staff seems to be able to move smoothly through the crowd to serve everyone. Our servers was pleasant and efficient.
Great service. Pasta cooked well, but no flavor in any of the sauces. We had red cream sauce, white wine garlic sauce, and fish broth. Very under seasoned. The penne with chicken and broccoli was tasteless.Dietary restrictions: They have two gluten free pastas. Tasteless. Pizza GF was much better.
First best overall for an Italian restaurant. Friendly service makes everything so much better!
