Such a beautiful rustic elegant event. Food is consistently really good. Be there for 50 years and go back soon.

The Beyond Burger is delicious and grilled on its own grill so no worries of it getting any dairy or other meat byproduct on the patty. The spinach salad was also vegan friendly, minus the cheese, and very tasty. Only bummer is they don't deliver to the room/Casita. You have to order then go pick it up.

While they seemed short-staffed, our waitress was very friendly and attentive. I'm a pretty big foody, it was pretty amazing for being in the middle of the dessert.

The Mrs. and I stopped in at the Fox Den Bar today for a drinkipoo after an exciting visit to downtown Borrego Springs. We were staying at the La Casa del Zorro resort, which is where the Fox Den is located, and had to kill time while waiting for our room. We arrived around 3:15 and the bar wasn't busy. Jeanie was the bartender when we arrived. I ordered a Manhattan and the Mrs. had a coffee she never heard of before. Lol As the clock and our drinks rolled on to 4 p.m., the bar got really busy. Kim took over for Jeanie and was just as great. These two ladies know how to run their bar. The Fox Den Bar is very old school. The decor is simple. There is a Fox themed mural behind the bar, mid-century modern barstools, and a beautiful bar top. If you're staying at the La Casa del Zorro resort you must have a drink at the Fox Den Bar.

Always excellent food and service. Lucy is a great server. Patio was comfortable at 104 degrees and well spaced apart.
