Watts Cooking Cafe - Boroondara

Looked at the menu as we were walking past, seemed interesting so we gave it a try. The new owner was working the floor and made us very welcome. great range of dishes and it is easy to share plates. The food that we tried was excellent, great presentation and superb sauces. Tuesday and Wednesday is free to BYO so it's even better value on those nights. We'll certainly be back again.

Dropped in for breakfast on a cold Sunday morning and was delighted with the service and the food. Good coffee and breakfast was expertly done with great ingredients and perfectly cooked. Loved out and will definetly come again.

Quick service and great atmosphere. We sat out in the undercover courtyard which was really nice. Plenty of space to sit either inside in the restaurant or in the courtyard. Good selection of food on the menu. The gnocchi in particular was great. They also do a special on croquettes and the ones we had were amazing! Plenty of parking in the train station car park next to the cafe.

We've had 2 meals at Watt's Cooking since they recently started opening for dinner. Both times the restaurant has been half full and we've chosen to sit out in the courtyard which makes for a nice change, plus it's a little quieter than inside. The staff are extremely attentive and the food is downright delicious, the best part is it's right around the corner from home. I feel like we've hit the jackpot finding such a great restaurant so close to home. If you're in Surrey Hills or surrounding suburbs, do yourself a favor and give this restaurant a go, you won't be disappointed.
