L'Escale - Bonifacio

This place serves fairly standard seafood and pastas at competitive prices. We had the mussels and enjoyed them, but overall the place is nothing to rave about.

Loved the 20 euros menu as outstanding buy and the food was excellent. The staff is very nice and they talked at length with us and even offered us free liquor of myrtle(wit refills! . A great introduction by a local family to the people, culture, and food of Bonifacio. Very pleasant at breakfast too and we just felt so welcomed. Absolutely loved it.

Everything is wrong. We got a different plate than what we ordered. We didn 't got our food the same time. The burger was cold and too **** to be safe. Instead of parmesan cheese with the pasta we got a cheep plastic can of dehydrated cheeses . And the food just didn 't taste good. Total lack of atmosphere (mix of noise from a generator and talking on the radio).
