Central Baking Depot - Bondi Junction

After getting our blood test next door, my husband and I were starving so we both grabbed their pork sausage roll and their dark chic and raspberry muffin which were both good and reasonably priced. There was also a box of toys for kids to play with which was entertaining for my son.

Great coffees! Somehow I've really struggled to find a great cap in the area...I've tried every cafe between bronte and the cbd and have only found a few that serve a decent coffee. Central baking depot is where I stop for my caffeine hit in the junction.

Bought a couple of take-away croissants 9:00am Saturday morning. Got home to find them stale - yesterday's bake but at today's price. Not happy and feeling ripped off.

Central Baking Depot brought a little sunshine to a particularly gloomy, rainy morning. The wide selection of sweet and savoury should provide enough options for any mood you're in. I was (unsurprisingly) in the mood for sweets so I tried a Nutella Brioche with a Chai Latte. The brioche was lovely and filled with custard. I think I would have liked a little more nutella in the filling though. The latte was nicely spiced and not too sweet. I took home a loaf of their signature sourdough which was tangy and chewy, just how I like it! The friendly staff were also quick to deliver my order. Will be back! atrueloveofmine.com

The food here looks very tempting, with a divine array of cakes in the counter. Perhaps it was a bad choice but my carrot cake was a little disappointing. It was nice and moist but I found it overly sweet.
