Trattoria Meloncello - BOLOGNA

It is very nice place for a dinner. I have tried tortelloni with ricotta and ragu and it was simply delicious. Perfectly prepared. For dessert I went for the zuppa inglese and it was also very interesting, however, I haven't trired this dessert anywhere else so I am not an expert. Stuff was very nice and service was perfect, as well as atmosphere. It may be a bit cheaper, pasta 12 EUR, dessert 5 EUR and coperto 2,5 EUR.

A bit of a walk from the centre of the city where we stayed but the suckling pig had been recommended to us by a local. Was well worth the walk! I also had the Passatelli in brodo which was wonderful. As for wine there was a choice of white or red, but as my husband has always said, any restaurant that is any good will have a good enough house wine!

We are an American family living 70m from this restaurant! Hands down, it is my favorite restaurant in Bologna and we are well traversed in food and super foodies! As an expat for the last 10 years, Trattoria Meloncello is an A+. The gramigna salssicia is to die for. Authentic, great service, and an absolute lovely staff! Trattoria Meloncello is a do not miss! Storica trattoria bologna. uno dei più antichi e tra i migliori, qui troverete tutti i piatti tipici della cucina bolognese e tutta di ottima qualità. E' sicuro. si trova sotto l'arco del meloncello alla fine di via saragozza, impossibile non notarlo con il suo insegnamento vintage. a tutti coloro che vogliono provare sapori autentici non si può, ma consigliarlo.

Si mangia bene e il personale è cordiale e gentile, come deve essere un rinfrescante. Avendo mangiato all'aperto ho trovato due pezzi: siamo stati divorati dalle zanzare e tutti i tavoli sembravano troppo vicini alla strada, pur avendo un ampio spazio. Due piccoli aspetti che non mi fanno dare 5 stelle.
