Riverview Tavern - Bohle Plains

$23 for this out of the box frozen calamari. Dry, thin, tasteless. My kids got more chips in their $9 kids meals than I got with this order. we waited 45 mins for 5 meals. Kids burgers were a good size but the kids fish and chips was a joke. 1 piece of fish the size of 2 KFC nuggets and some chips.It was our first and last visit to this place. The menu is very basic but has all the usual pub meals. Prices were too high for the dining experience they offered.

As we live nearby, we class the Riverview Tavern as our local. We love having dinner on the deck outside overlooking the river and weir. The food is always good, generous portions and value for money. I also appreciate that they keep the menu fresh and have changed it just recently. Nice friendly staff, good selection of sparkling, excellent venue for a sundowner and the courtesy bus is a bonus! Keep up the great work!!

Met in a group of 4 for dinner. Easy parking. Lovely outlook over the river and nice feel from the deck, would be a pleasant way / place to watch the world go by, while having a quiet one. I had not been to the establishment before, but the other 3 had. They noted that the venue used to be always packed, but there was very few people seem to go now. Apparently menu format has changed and they believe that has lead to the downturn in patronage and likely their future patronage. My rump steak was great flavour and tender, others noted the salad was pretty ordinary The plate of loaded wedges was a congealed lump of wedges held together with excessive cheese. Making it impossible to extract a wedge without digging it out with a knife. I'd go back for a drink, but wouldn't race back for the food.

Recommended by family friends cause of the amazing view. We all ordered entree's, the oysters were fresh. I ordered the Fish burger & chips (chips were very tasty). All meals came out within half an hour. Lots of choices on the menu which i like. Staff were very friendly and helpful, gave the kids fun packs to keep them entertained. Will be returning :)

Ordered food from the bistro at 1:30. bistro shuts at 2. Ordered the barramundi burger, beef burger and beef nachos. Burgers were about $17, nachos where $16. All arrived cold, with soggy chips. Cheese not melted on the burgers, and nachos comes with liquid orange cheese, not melted cheese. Fish fillet was crumbed, not grilled. Pretty ordinary cooking. Either price the pub grub lower or prepare it better. Outlook was lovely, you can watch the turtles, and staff were very pleased, and took feedback on the food well.
