Fishetarian Fish Market - BODEGA BAY

Was in the area and there was this nice area to stop and eat.I had a half dozen shucked raw oysters that were huge. The clam chowder tasted awesome but a little milky. All in all a nice place for a quick seafood lunch.

After checking into our villa, Charlie and I searched for a local restaurant that accommodated dogs. Fishetarian Fish Market showed up on the recommended restaurant searches. I ordered 6 oysters and Fish N’ chips, as well as a draft beer for dinner. The Fishetarian staff gave my dog Charlie a milk bone to enjoy. The oysters were super fresh and tasted great. They put the food items in to-go containers and a paper bag. They have outdoor seating reserved for guests who prefer sitting outside, especially those who want to dine with their furry pets. I can’t imagine a better place to eat seafood along Bodega Bay. If you want a great lunch or dinner and desire feeling totally relaxed, Fishetarian is the perfect place.

My brother brought me here when we were in Bodega bay. The day was cool so we asked to have the heat lanterns on. You will find this place quite quaint...not much indoor seating...but plenty outside. It is right on the water ..so the view is beautiful. This place is not just a restaurant...but a market. They have candy...drinks...deli items such as pasta salad...dips ect. They also sell chips...lots of different hot sauce...and also items like sweatshirts. My brother told me to try the fish and chips...you can order it with panko or beer battered...we all had that and some clam chowder. The 2 piece with fries was 17.99 and its 19.99 for 3 pieces of fish. The food comes out so fresh and hot. The fish is fresh with a crispy batter on the outside which is delicious. The fries were good too. The clam chowder according to my sister is some of the best she had. It is hot and full of flavor. This is their go to place every time they camp in Bodega. They have many different sauces you can get to eat with your fish. Tartar sauce...catsup...a sweet chili sauce...vinegar. They also have ither items on the menu such as calamari..fish tacos...fried shrimp...crab cakes. If you like seafood...this place was very good and fresh. The staff was very friendly.

Love this new place that is outdoor seating only. It was so delicious. We got fish and chips for the kids. Sweet potato fries. Clam chowder and tacos and some apple cider for the adults.. YUM. You can also purchase fresh caught seafood and take it home to cook it up. They have bathrooms. The code is on your receipt so make a note of that. They also have heat lamps and a wind shelter. It was greatly needed. You pay when you order which makes it great with the kids. We will return.
