We had an excellent meal here, and I will definitely be back to try some more items from the eclectic menu. I had the duck, and the blueberry glaze was delicious and a nice change of pace from the usual orange or cherry. My cousin had the chicken schnitzel which he enjoyed. The service was professional and courteous. A great find!
Since this restaurant first opened it?s been one of our regular go to places. Love taking friends there and exposing them as well. When Covid hit obviously our dining out was significantly reduced and we noticed a slight slacking off of the quality at the restaurant. However we went back for the first time a couple of weeks ago and again last night. They are back!! We had two great meals and it?s clear that the new chef and sous chef are knocking the ball out of the park. So glad we could put them back in our regular rotation! It?s great for a full meal or even appetizers and happy hour. The new appetizer menu is clever and creative. Congrats Phil great quality and service!
Eh. I had high expectations for this place, and I think between the it searching for an identity (the name cheapens the fact they have caviar) and then slow service it was just ok. Steak tartare was obviously sitting in fridge due to discolored outer layer. Caviar on the tartare and deviled eggs was fine, branzino special entree and the salmon burger were good, overall it?s not impressive enough to return considering the tons of options in the immediate area. Glad we checked it off the list, but that?s it for us.
Having been here once before and remembering a decent meal, I assumed, can?t go wrong for a last minute dinner decision. Guess that?s why they say one shouldn?t assume anything, because this was nothing but a pure let down. In the past, this place was usually quite bustling, but this particular evening, there were two other tables sat and an empty bar area, an ominous sign. Having waited about 10 minutes before even a greeting by our server and a water pour, I overheard grumblings from our neighbor about a new chef and multiple errors with their meal. After we were able to order, and wanting to start on the lighter side I opted for the tuna poke which was nothing more than mushed up chunks of meat that seemed to have been sitting in a poke marinade for an extraordinary amount of time which left it over flavored and very unenjoyable. While the octopus meat was tender on the octopus toastado, it was served chilled with almost no flavor, hardly any sauce and some greens with diced tomato. Truly underwhelming. With both dishes priced just under $20 a pop, the meal ended abruptly there. I hope they can get it together before it?s too late.
