Black Dog Village Pub Bistro

Delicious and fresh food with an elevated pub menu. Good choice and very good execution. This was offset set by higher than average prices and a bit steep for portion size. Service was slow and disorganized, had to wait over an hour for a burger and fish and chips 1 filet). If you have time to bask and take in the atmosphere of Bayfield Main Street and don’t mind a very leisurely pace it’s a nice place.

Very over priced for what you get, but the soup of the day was amazing.

The new Bayfield is very nice! The Black Dog is a nice place to go for lunch. The revamped streetscape of Bayfield offers plenty of parking and a myriad of shops full of eclectic dust collectors, warm weather gear and dining. I had the sausage and pretzel with a stout for a light snack after a morning of doing nothing but driving to the coast. The staff were very pleasant I wish that I was a scotch drinker they had plenty to choose on the swell stocked shelves. I look forward to returning when it is a bit warmer for more food and drink. .

I was quite disappointed with the Thai vegetable pad; it was overly sweet and had a strong vinegar taste. It seemed like the chef didn't know how to prepare it properly. Food: 1 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4.
