The Black Sheep - Blue Ridge

This place is AWESOME!!! The brunch was amazing. The oysters were fresh and delicious. Service was phenomenal. Overall a great experience and will definitely return.

Amazing spot, the duck and chicken are incredible and the staff are so kind, not to mention how gorgeous the restaurant is in itself. Wish we'd have found this spot before our last day in town.

If you're planning a day trip to Blue Ridge, I highly recommend dining at the Black Sheep restaurant for dinner. My meal was both delicious and generous in portion size. The service was exceptional. I arrived slightly earlier than the dinner service, which caused a brief delay and a bit of confusion, but overall, it was a fantastic experience. It's advisable to make a reservation, as I had to sit at the bar since all the terrace tables were booked for the evening. There are plenty of seating options available, including outdoor terrace tables, the veranda, the internal bar, and the upper floor main dining area. They also have a full bar offering wine, cocktails, and more. The atmosphere is cozy and casual, making it perfect for an intimate gathering with friends and family. While this spot elevates the typical mountain town dining experience, I found the bread pudding dessert to be somewhat tedious, though still enjoyable. After such a wonderful meal, my expectations were quite high. The prices are on the higher side, and there's parking available on-site.

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary at this restaurant, and it was an incredible experience. Our waiter, Morgan, truly exceeded our expectations; we were both thrilled to have him serve us. I tried duck for the first time, and thanks to his recommendations, it was so delicious I couldn't resist! We left the restaurant completely satisfied. I really wish we lived closer, as I would love to come here regularly. The atmosphere, food, and staff were all fantastic. Honestly, Morgan was exceptional.

Black Sheep is fantastic! We dined there for my son's birthday, and it definitely exceeded our expectations. The portions are generous, and the food is excellent. They also have a great wine selection. The owner, Brandon, took the time to chat with us, and he was very friendly. The service was top-notch—definitely 5 stars!
