フィードバックを提供するI am a huge fan of Sleepy Bee, and while I have mainly visited the Oakley location in the past, I recently tried out the Blue Ash site and fell in love all over again. Be prepared to wait for a table, but it is definitely worth it. Everything on the menu is fantastic, but make sure not to miss out on the buttermilk pancakes. My personal favorite are the blueberry pancakes - they are absolutely delicious. One of the things I appreciate most about Sleepy Bee is their commitment to using fresh ingredients and sourcing as much as possible from local companies. They offer a wide variety of healthy and indulgent options, making it a great choice for any type of eater.
It was in the late morning, well before the brunch hour when I first visited the Sleepy Bee Cafe Blue Ash. I was in the neighborhood and breakfast. Immediately after entering, I was greeted and immediately sitting. My server brought a cup of coffee to enjoy while the menu that was so idiosyncratic that it was difficult to understand. Tofu? Be all. I explained to my server that I basically wanted bacon and eggs and he describes everything. Soaked breakfast potatoes prepared with garlic and butter and then crushed, and my selection of eggs, breakfast meat and bread. My food came hot from the kitchen in a few minutes, just as ordered. Everything on the plate was extraordinarily prepared, beautifully spiced and delicious. Bee Cafe Blue Ash deserves to be considered a unique and priority breakfast destination. Everything was fresh and there were no small packages of portions or butter. Well worth the $14.00 price!
Comfortable place with an interesting menu. I took my daughter here because we're always looking for new breakfasts. She had the buttermilk pancakes and I had the Avi Omelette. The pancakes and the local maple syrup were fabulous, but a little futile for a stack of 3. The omelet was very good vegetable omelet. I had served it with breakfast dishes, which, in my opinion, were boiled small baked potatoes. The meal was served with only one piece of toast and they had no salsa (which I usually like on eggs). Endstroh, our very nice server seemed too thin. It took a long time to get their attention to our order and the coffee cup went a few times dry. Net, not as impressed as I could have been and thus the lower score. For the money I would choose First Watch for breakfast, but if I went to the area looking for a place, this will still be on the list.
The breakfast and lunch at this restaurant are very good. Everything is sourced locally and made from scratch. The melted leek omelet is fantastic. I would have given a higher rating, but the prices are a bit high for the quality of the food.
Trifecta! This joint perfectly nailed the big three: (1) — food; wide variety on menu; scored very well in terms of flavor for everyone in my party; (2) — service; fast and attentive; friendly conversation, as well; (3) — ambiance; nothing but positive vibes emitting from the stylish interior and fellow diners… the joint was hopping! This review based on my first and, so far, only visit. It’s my new #1 and was definitely the foodie highlight on my semi-annual pilgrimage from Louisville. Looking forward to my next visit.
