Cup Kettle Tea - Bloomington

This restaurant is extremely charming, with comfortable chairs and couches to sit on, as well as spacious tables. The staff is very kind and attentive. They have a wide variety of tea options, so don't hesitate to ask for a suggestion! They also typically offer vegan sandwiches and cookies. I enjoy ordering a pot of tea and spending time here working, but I also love getting a mug of one tea and then trying another.

This is a nice spot to grab a cup of tea, but the selection isn't as extensive as Bloomingtea. Unfortunately, their vegan options are disappointing. The vegan egg salad sandwich is not truly vegan as it contains honey in the multigrain bread, and the vegan/GF peanut butter cookie has a strange taste. Additionally, some may find the tarot reading and burning lavender at a nearby table off-putting. It's not my cup of tea, and I'd prefer to enjoy the aroma of my tea without the distraction of burning lavender.

Maybe I just had bad luck, but I'm hesitant to try another. Additionally, while enjoying my tea, someone at the next table was reading tarot cards and burning lavender, which was a bit distracting. It's not for everyone, and who wants to mix the smell of fragrant tea with burning lavender?
