Maroochy River Golf Club - BLI BLI

The vista takes your breath away the moment you walk through the door.The bar attendant was very helpful and friendly.The kitchen staff were pleasant, efficient and produced very tasty,well priced meals.The atmosphere was very peaceful and we had a beautiful view of the Golf Course and Coolum Mountain.A very relaxing lunch sitting out on the deck drinking champagne and eating lunch.

We played as a Corporate Day event where >100 golfers were out on the Course. A relatively new golf course it was a pleasant layout with many demanding holes. The lowest point of the day was the ignorant and rude Greens staff who were doing their daily tasks during our round. Now I will always give way to Greens staff but as a golfer, I also expect a bit of respect from the staff as well which wasn't the case on the day we played. They showed zero consideration to the players on the day and even gave our group "the fingers" when we questioned their actions on one hole when they barged onto the green with their mower as we were still putting out. Our group probably paid >$5,000 for the privilege of playing the course that day but the Greens staff certainly didn't do the Course any favours in attracting us back again.

We got in early and enjoyed the view over the 18th as the Sun was setting. It was really nice and with the shiny new surroundings it was very nice to have a drink out on the terrace prior to dinner.The staff could all not have been more helpful or friendly or helpful, and made a real effort to make the experience.The menu is not vast, but what they did produce they did really well. We all had the fish of the day which was a beautiful slice of salmon with a Caesar Salad, which was the equal of any of the pub venues that you might get around town.

Went there for drinks and a feed food was very good the drinks were a little bit pricey staff were really friendly helped us to relax

This newly built golf course could have designed a smart dining area that would perhaps attract the local population. Instead the venue has no ambiance. It's just like any other of the many "club" type dining areas. A shame, because the view over the 18th Hole is panoramic. The food was OK, but nothing there that would bring me back. There are too many better venues in the area.
