Yoshimoto Japanese Steakhouse

There were 5 of us. We all ordered something else. I ordered Steak and Scallops. Two of us had the steak. We were asked how we wanted to cook our steak. We both ordered med-rare, but were done well. Mine was hard to chew and leave most of it. The scallops were okay. I had mixed vegetables that were good. The Japanese noodles were like me in every Chinese restaurant. Yes, Chinese. The children enjoyed watching the Hibachi cookery. It wasn't so bad about a meal, but I won't return.

I love this restaurant! The food is always fresh and amazing!! I highly recommend it!

Today, my daughter and I visited Yoshimoto for lunch. We ordered the "pick two" sushi rolls from the lunch menu. I chose the sharp crab and kani rolls, along with a salad, while my daughter opted for the avocado and cucumber roll with soup. Unfortunately, my salad had a bit too much dressing. When I mentioned this to the waiter, he promptly brought me a new salad along with a side of dressing. We were both very pleased with our experience and look forward to returning in a week. Overall, I’d give it 5 stars. Thank you for the excellent service and delicious sushi!

One downside was the seating options; we could have used more. The birthday song played obnoxiously loud throughout the evening, which detracted from the dining experience for everyone in the restaurant. It was played three or four times during our meal. On a positive note, the manager came to check on our table and brought us some wine, which was a nice touch. The service from our waiter was lacking, and I would rate it a 2 out of 5. There was an issue with one of our sushi orders, but the taste was fine, so we didn’t send it back. The waiter left the table before we finished our orders. The bar area gets a solid 5 out of 5, and the staff member who cleared our plates was friendly and attentive. I did notice that the floor in the seating area was sticky, but the bathroom was clean.

The food was absolutely fantastic and delightful, and it was such a fun experience watching it being prepared! They even did a special sparkler candle for my nephew's birthday, which made him incredibly excited. I highly recommend this place!
