Amor Mexico - Blackburn

The salsa and corn chips were average, but we truly enjoyed the fajitas bowl and the giant tostada. The sauce was exceptional. Additionally, we appreciated that the dishes were served on a hot plate, which is always a bonus for me.

The staff at this restaurant were very friendly and welcoming. Even though my young child was misbehaving, the staff were understanding and provided a play area for kids. The food was delicious and very satisfying, with everything tasting wonderful.

I visited this restaurant a couple of nights ago with two friends. I tried the new fajitas bowl and found it to be delicious, with the perfect portion size. I had the beef, but I plan to try the chicken next time. Additionally, there are options available for vegetarians and vegans with this bowl. My friends tried the fajitas and quesadilla supreme, and both dishes were excellent and flavorful. I highly recommend this restaurant.

The enchiladas are amazing, and a very nice comfortable and cute restaurant! The owner Amy has amazing service, and the service is fast. Great mexican food :

As a single business traveler I often find it difficult if not a little intimidating to go to restaurants alone resulting in many nights of room service and two minute noodles. <br/ <br/ But after visiting Amor Mexico on a particularly lonely night, I am very happy to report that the warm and welcoming staff (not to mention the yummy food and cosy atmosphere prompted a return visit a week later. <br/ <br/ And although the staff were different, the way they made me feel genuinely welcome and better still, appreciated for my choice to dine with them, was exactly the same as the first time. <br/ <br/ The restaurant was quite busy the first night and apart from the volume of the two large tables celebrating birthdays (they weren't that loud I'm just a grumpy old man! the service was equally as wonderful as that of the second occasion when there were only 4 or 5 tables of two dining. <br/ <br/ I ordered different drinks and meals each time and everything was delicious and reasonably generous in size adding good value for money to the list of positives of this place. <br/ <br/ If you or you and your friends/family are ever in Forest Hill or within 20kms of Forest Hill and feel like some yummy Mexican and great hospitality, drop in to Amor Mexico. <br/ <br/ PS. I talked with the owner on my second visit and was informed it has been a Mexican restaurant for 30 years and hasn't changed hands on the last 15 which I guess is testimony to my very positive review.
