The Riverbank - Birr

Delicious food. Fabulous presentation. Deserts were topclass too, as was the wine. Great service and pleasant friendly staff. Definitely reccomend spending an evening here for dinner.

Was staying overnight in Birr so visited the River Restaurant for dinner. There is a great range of dishes on the menu. The food was slow in coming which we didn’t mind because it was so good when it arrived and the staff were very apologetic about the delay. It takes time to produce good food. Will definitely return if we are in Birr again.

We had a lovely meal in Riverstown on Saturday. We were seated in the new dining area and received excellent service. Thank you, Kaitlyn. The bread and butter pudding was outstanding, I would rate it 10/10!

The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere and the staff is friendly and helpful. They offer delicious vegan and vegetarian dishes at a very reasonable price.

We're here a few times now, and every time it's gonna be better and better. eating is amazing always fresh and hot and some stunning combinations and aromen. always a great choice, but without overlaying whenever we have guests. from Britain we take them here, as we have never been disappointed. the portions are perfect and the presentation is not put in any case. the personal is friendly and always attentive. prices are particularly good for the quality of food. the restaurant is beautifully decorated and has a beautiful ambiente. also up to the water bottle stoppers, which with small silverstags added a beautiful note. would highly recommend for families and couples all year round.
