フィードバックを提供するI came for a meal and was not disappointed. The restaurant had excellent Covid-19 protocols in place and I could not find any faults. The service I received was great, and the receipt had the name Clarkey on it. Again, I could not find any faults.
We had lunch yesterday before our flight. The restaurant was quiet but the service and food were excellent. The staff were knowledgeable about Covid-19 precautions and we were able to easily download the NHS app at the entrance.
I stayed at the Novotel hotel overnight and went to this restaurant for dinner on Saturday evening. The manageress was lovely and served my husband and me. She was very helpful and friendly. The restaurant was very compliant with Covid-19 regulations. The calamari and chicken salad were beautiful and the wine was delicious.
Lovely to see all bar one back open. Had a really good breakfast and team looked happy to be back. Thank you
It’s the first time I had a bad experience there. Usually all goes well. I’m not sure if this time is was because it was early morning and the staff had not slept enough but... I found it very difficult to get a smile out of our waitress ! Also, I had ordered eggs Benedict with 1/2 avocado. It was missing when I got served, so I asked about it and was brought 1/2 avocado, out of its skin and stone, but it seemed there was no effort in trying to make this a good experience. I think it was the cherry on top of the cake when I was served a hot drink with a sinking spoon ! They are obviously too short for the big glass mugs, so either get the right size spoon or serve the drinks into other cups ! I had to ask for a table spoon to rescue the little one myself and actually enjoy my drink afterwards.
