Taco Morro Loco - Birmingham

The food truck down the road is better, but I was craving some Mexican breakfast on a Sunday, and their restaurant opened early. They frequently have problems with the air conditioning, and the smell of the bathroom cleaner is almost overpowering the aroma of the food. It definitely smells clean, but next time I think I’ll opt for takeout since they really need better ventilation.

The food was exceptional! I ordered the Chile Rellenos and my wife had the Enchiladas; both dishes were outstanding! Although there were no lunch specials, I believe the quality of the food is far more important than finding a bargain. I definitely recommend you give this place a try!

This is probably one of the best, if not the absolute best, taco shop and Mexican restaurant in Birmingham. I truly mean this. On a random Monday night around 5:30 PM, we were attended to with exceptional care. The service, the food, and the quality of the meats were all outstanding! I would rate it a 10/10 and wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking a casual Mexican dining experience. We visited about three months ago, and since then, they have really improved. Their salsa is incredibly smoky and delicious, and the queso is fantastic as well. They also operate a food truck on 4th Ave S, which is exceptional. If you're craving authentic tacos, look no further than Taco Morro Loco in Avondale.

The food was fantastic! It's the best Mexican cuisine I've enjoyed in years. I definitely plan to bring my family here.

This place was truly incredible. I couldn’t give better marks for the food and service. The prices were quite reasonable as well. The staff appeared genuinely concerned about getting our order right and serving it promptly. I just wish they had a location in Monroe, LA, because we’ll definitely return every time we’re in Birmingham. Highest rating!
