Taco Mama The Waites - Birmingham

Excellent, great food and staff, I ordered classic tacos all separated and they knew exactly what I meant. We were out there and they're traveling better. Especially the hard tacos, they won't be the trip home. Good mood, family lover and great for a night out.

I ordered catering from Taco Mama (The Waites) for our quarterly department meeting. Everyone was excited to have this for lunch. Excellent food and service!!

Jeremy Beasley (General Manager and his team set the highest standard for hospitality!! I hosted a corporate event at the restaurant, and way more people than expected came last minute. Over 60 people in less than 2 hours! I told him as soon as we realized only an hour before the event. He and his team immediately kicked into gear. Important to note that our guests are not easy to impress, but Jeremy and his team blew us away. Food came out on time, lines were reasonable, margaritas were amazing, and everyone raved about the staff. Jeremy not only maintained an open line of communication with me all night so I could relay messages between staff and guests, but he also worked HARD alongside staff to make sure his team and we were taken care of. Seriously the best restaurant I've worked with in Birmingham. I plan to host all of our future events here. Just don't do what I did and make sure to talk to Jeremy at least a week and a half in advance ; Delicious fresh food, excellent portions, extremely kid friendly, accommodations for ALL dietary restrictions, timely service, and QUALTIY team. Can't say enough.

Ate at Taco Mama today on a recommendation from someone for a quick lunch. This was my first time at a Taco Mama. We were very impressed! My wife or rdeeed the cheesy beefy taco plate and I did the build your own quesadilla! My quesadilla was packed with the ingredients that I picked and stuffed with cheese! The chips were hot and fresh! The salsa was spot on! We got there wheel they opened and within 15 mins the place was packed. I can see why it was recommended! If your in the medical district of downtown Birmingham and wants some amazing tacos, hit this place up!!
