Melt - Birmingham

We were expelled by a friend to this place who knew we loved great eating. we tried the strawberry salad, which we were rewarded with a great and delicious meal. it was great! we will definitely try other elements on the menu again. the photo is only helped by the salats!

I found MELT to be an excellent choice for lunch while in the Avondale part of town. We just happened upon it while doing business in the area. I had the Cuban sandwich with fries. The meal was excellent, served in a timely manner and by a friendly waitperson. I would highly recommend MELT.

Hard place to find. Off beaten path and not easy to identify by signs. Definitely a good atmosphere and food choices. Would return anytime working in the area. Fried pickles and Snickers are great. Fast and friendly service.

We got a recommendation from a friend to visit here and the food was good! There are just as many calories as you would guess in the meals so I wouldn't come here regularly, but it fit the bill for the night. The drinks looked really fun but I only had a mocktail which was delicious. We sat at the bar and enjoyed watching them prepare the food.

I've spent a lot of time in Avondale and for many years, I've intended to eat at MELT, and last night I finally did; my only regret was that I didn't eat there sooner. I'm a huge fan of Cuban sandwiches, and I was thoroughly impressed with their Cuban, my wife also enjoyed her Old Smokey sandwich. The fries with rosemary ketchup and honey mustard were really unique, and fantastic. Anthony was an amazing server; he did a perfect job and I wish there were more people like him working in the food industry.
