フィードバックを提供するWe were in Billing for the day and decided to stop somewhere different from our usual places for lunch. My daughter was looking fast and found Grains Of Montana. The lady working on the counter was nice and we ordered a BLT, veggie sandwich and caramel cheesecake. The food was fast and we both really enjoyed our sandwiches and the cheese cake we shared (the artichoke on the veggie sandwich was really delicious). I can't say anything about the inside of the restaurant because it was a nice day and we were sitting outside. All in all, it was a great place, especially for the price!
Good food, no problem there. A little confusing about ordering you get seated, go back up order and they bring it out to you. Not used to that, didn't know much I should tip.
The service was great and friendly. I had the French toast made with sourdough bread it was good but could taste the bacon that was cooked right before the toast. Next time I will try it with one of the flavored breads and hopefully not have the taste of bacon grease on my food. The potatoes were not seasons very well and a bit bland but not the worst I have ever had.
Food was good and cooked right, however we ordered to go and had order wrong with a few items missing. So I had to drive back get our missing order, drive home and then able to eat. But by then food was no longer warm, chicken fried steak was cool and hard, eggs cooled off and gravy no longer creamy. Almost a fresh cooked meal was not great to have, but taste was good enough. Incorrect order is making me question ordering to-go again. Maybe try in house next visit. We shall see... To Be continued...
I ordered a hot ham cheese sandwich and it came out with cold ham without melted cheese and wasn't very good. I then was eating the soup which was like lukewarm and unfortunately the coleslaw was very dry and didn't have any flavor or dressing on it. I did take the sandwich back and told her about the soup and she did bring out hot soup which was awesome and they re made the sandwich which came out the exact same way so they should really just take that sandwich off the hot menu and make it a cold sandwich because it's not a hot ham and cheese sandwich which is what I really wanted on that snowy day.
