Settles Grill - Big Spring

While we have had a stellar stay at the hotel, most often we dine at the Grill on our way through town. The chef is inventive and consistently fabulous. People should come from all over the world just to experience his food.

I grew up down the street from the hotel settles. It was worn down with all the windows broken out. I moved away when they were trying to replace the windows. As a child i always admired the building. We came home for a quick visit and booked a room on line. When we arrived we found out that we booked only a queen size bed on the historic floor and needed 2 beds. The receptionist quickly accommodated us with a different room. We were so excited to finally spend some time in this beautiful building. Nothing short of amazing. From the rooms to being able to explore our surroundings. I recommend and will be back on next visit.

I went through and had a reservation in La Quinta. When I was there, the room was not available. That was the only hotel I could find with a void. It turned out to be positive. The place was great, the room exceptional, and the staff very pleasant. I usually rent rooms of chains, but this experience has rethinking that

I was just there and loved the place. The beautiful paintings and the opulent use of the space in the lobby and the mezzanine have the landmarks of a forgotten time. It is really a monument to the past era of West Texas ranching and oil barons. This little jewel is worth it out of the way for!

The hotel is gorgeous! I have enjoyed staying here. My room was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. I was pleasantly surprised. I highly recommend it.
