The Mountain Cafe - Big Bear Lake

So happy that this place is open again! We came on a Saturday night and they had a bounce house for the kids and live music. The beer was cold and the food was delicious. The service is really convenient. For an appetizer I recommend the trio of Guacamole, Salsa and queso. For dinner you should get the Burger animal style. I definitely recommend checking it especially on a beautiful day!

No frills hang out place for booze food. Dogs allowed on the outdoor patio. The lady who runs the place is really cool did everything with a sunny attitude from tending the bar to waiting on tables. She made strong drinks too! We ordered a bunch of appetizers. The potato skins were actually potato wedges served with country gravy, cheese sour cream, the jalapeño poppers were delicious, good pulled pork sliders too (or maybe it was the booze great service).

Great drinks. Delicious. No happy hour but somehow you'll still end up happy . Must try these drinks. Service is amazing. The people dinning are very welcoming and friendly. Another must try is the fried pickle chips so yummy.

We’d go back for drinks, but skip the food. The bartender was taking care of everyone. She was the host, server, drink maker, etc. She was very friendly and the margaritas were good, and also cheap on Taco Tuesday. The food was okay but greasy and my “veggie bowl” was overpriced beans, rice and bell peppers. They were out of the chipotle dressing. Expect a bar vibe and you’ll enjoy! Seems like a fun place to play some pool.

My friends band "Contagious ' played! The guests were friendly, drinks were strong. Food was great(reasonable$ I had a great time!
