De la Tour - Biel/Bienne

The restaurant at the edge of the bieler old town is beautiful. the tower (de la tour) belonged to the medieval city wall and you can even eat in a tower room.The kitchen is Italian and belongs to the better what you can get in biel. my tagliata was the very first. the prices are a bit high, but the ambiente counts as well. the wine card should be a bit more detailed.

We were eating in the de la tour and after eating on the terrace we still grappa and espresso approved to a zigarette. Wunderschönes kulinarisches Erlebnis, Frische und Spontaneität in einem mit viel Geschmack dekorierten Designer-Ambiente. Raffinesse von den Sitzen bis zum Besteck. Ein Stern weniger für den starken Fischgeruch, der uns vom Anfang bis zum Ende des Erlebnisses begleitet, auch ohne etwas zu essen (als ich nach Hause kam, sagte mir meine Tochter, dass du nach Oktopus riechst, Mama). Aufmerksamer und freundlicher Service.

Relativ schlechter Service, nicht gut informiert. Die Gerichte kamen größtenteils kalt an, die Preise sind teuer für die Portionen, die nicht qualitativ hochwertig und winzig sind. Schließlich wurde ein Teil des Gerichts vergessen … totale Enttäuschung.

This restaurant is located in an old building of the pretty old town of bene. the proposed kitchen is a very good Italian (this is not a pizzeria.) the map and the service are pleasant.
