Shula's Steak House - Bharatpur

Amber, our server, did an amazing job providing us with excellent service on a night they were short staffed. What a professional, witty and engaging person we were lucky to be with her!

Ribeye had to be sent back 2x. Server was visibly upset at 15% tip, although it should have been lower. Did not see her except three times. No manager came to see what was wrong. For being the only table at 8 pm the service and lack of general hospitality was neigh.

We were only the 2nd table in the dining room. There was a large party in the private room. Our server was Major he was excellent. Food was wonderful. We got a free birthday dessert which took so long to come out that we asked to have it in a To go container, glad the Key Lime pie was free because it wasn't worth paying for. It's pricey but the food was worth it. Will be back.

They accommodated our special dietary needs and service was attentive. My scallops had sand or shell fragments which is why I scored the food as average and not up to Shula's standards.

This was super disappointing. We were celebrating my graduation from UF with my doctorate so a fancy and nice steakhouse is what we expected. What we got was far from it. First we ordered the calamari and shrimp cocktail, both tasted frozen and many of my guests wouldn’t even finish them. We told the server and she was apologetic and nice. Unfortunately not her fault but a poor first impression. Then our steaks came out and with high hopes we cut into them and mine (ordered medium rare) was well done with no color. My dad’s (ordered medium rare) was more medium well. I sent mine back but then they gave me a raw steak. On the third and final attempt they got it ok. The taste wasn’t amazing. For a 50$ steak I would expect better. I’ve had better food at Texas Roadhouse. I actually did the next day for mother’s day and we all had perfect steaks.My aunt ordered the salmon, which also tasted frozen and not fresh. Just overall super disappointing. A night I have been dreaming of for 8 years ended up super lack luster because of poor quality in food and broken expectations. I would not recommend this place it is way too expensive for the quality we experienced.
