フィードバックを提供するWe ordered a prime standing rib roast for Christmas Eve dinner. I asked to have it “untrimmed” because we use the extra drippings to make Yorkshire pudding. It came exactly as we ordered it and everyone agreed it was by far the BEST prime rib roast we have ever had. The entire time we were at the dinner table the conversation kept coming back to how delicious it was. I wish I could take the credit but all I did was sprinkle on a little salt and pepper and put it in the oven until it reached 120 degrees.I would recommend this butcher shop to anyone looking to source quality meat on the North Shore. Obviously prices are higher for Prime grade beef, but I think it is 100% worth it when it comes down to taste and texture. I hope that people will support small businesses and celebrate the access to quality products we gain from the efforts these establishments. Thank you to the Corner Butcher Shop for making our Christmas dinner spectacular, especially in such a trying year.
This place has by far the best Steak on the North Shore. The price is well worth it! Also have many varieties of marinated chicken that are delicious. If you are looking for pork chops I wouldn’t go anywhere else!
I am a 77year old man who loves steak. My uncle was a butcher in Boston many years. He generously sent us home to NY with a freezer full of rib eyes. That was a big treat for us back then.I have eaten steak in many restaurants and over the years I have gravitated back to rib eyes because nothing matches the taste of a good ribeyes. Butchers and waiters I have asked have overwhelmingly said ribeyes is their favorite.I have lived here for 5 years.The Corner Butcher always has given me a perfect ribeye every time my daughter picks one up for me. I am retired and have plenty of time to watch segments on YOU TUBE about shopping for and cooking ribeyes. And I will not go to a restaurant for ribeye because The Corner Butcher has provided perfect cuts. So I have experimented with all sorts methods to prepare steak. Other than adjusting my recipes the one thing I know is that The Corner Butchers ribeye is delicious nomatter what I am experimenting with.Thanks
I was looking for a butcher shop near me and gave this place a shot. Firstly, when you walk him, you are greeted with a huge assortment of hot sauces, which I’m obsessed with so it was bias from the start haha. Ordered sweet and spicy steak tips, and wow they grilled so good, VERY good. The staff was very friendly and the girl that was working was praising the owner after we got talking about the shop and products. Thats rare to see, you can tell this shop has integrity, I like that. I’ll be back!
I tend to go to butcher shops for my meat because it's higher quality. The quality here is decent (nothing special compared to other butcher shops, but decent). The problem is the prices are really high, well above market value (as measured by competitors of equal or superior quality). If you're going here, just know you're getting ripped off.
