Modern Barn - Bethel

The steak was platted on a very small rectangular plate. The potato and asparagus ended up on the table. The pasta dish was over saturated with the Parmesan sauce, pasta was over cooked and mushy, and the dish had 3 pieces of shrimp. Wasn't a $32 dollar dish!!!

Service was VERY slow. Otherwise it would have been a much better dining experience.

We made an online dinner reservation for 6 and the table was ready when we arrived. Waitress was very helpful in choosing another wine when the requested bottle was not available. All the meals (ribeye, shrimp, chicken milanese and lobster ravioli) were delicious!

It had fantastic dishes, and the service was amazing. The only down take was with a party that size, we were at a long table so one end could not talk to the other end. I think even if it was two square tables put together it would have been way more pleasant.

This is the first time we've been able to get to Modern Barn due to previous crowds, which says lots about its popularity. This time, we went for an early Saturday dinner. Both the restaurant and bar were was filling up as we left. They offer a good menu for beverages and food, with some really interesting options! The service was outstanding, the food was delicious, and well presented. Prices were very fair, especially for the quality, and the portion sizes were just right. We'll be back!
