Zur Rose - Berlin

Randomly found this place after wondering around Berlin looking for something fairly traditional to eat. They have English menus, big smiles for the daft foreigners pronouncing their words all wrong and a nice outside seating area. I had the curry worst which came with awesome little roast potatoes and a small salad. It was delicious, huge, but delicious. There was a light curried tomato sauce and thin crispy onion rings over the top of the sausage and I accompanied it with a Berliner Pilsner. Perfect. Would definitely come back if we were here for longer.

A beautiful vintage restaurant with delicious food and great service! We had the carpaccio to start and the schnitzel and spaetzle. It was the perfect place to enjoy a relaxing Sunday lunch.

Food was fine but service absolutely horrible, the women was just so rude working. Middle aged and seems to think it's a problem if a person needs a spoon when having soup.. Honestly! So rude, ruined my lunch by being so incapable.

Beautiful cozy place! we ordered a normal carving and a big sausage, both were really delicious. service was nice and the prices are quite decent! would recommend for anyone looking for a traditional German meal!

So far the most beautiful German typical kitchen we have tried and the best. we had big German sausage with fried kartoffeln and fried tweebeln with fruity gravure. hubby had large meatballs with white capersauce, chive buttermash, slendered in mouth red cabbage. as a side had daughter small sausages, sour wort and fried wobble. the balance of the ingredients on each plate was no longer. we also had a whirlpool, a huge unexpected dish rice with brown sugar and cinnamon and rose cheesecake. absolutely delicious!
