Qadmous - Berlin

There are quite a lot of vegan dishes, especially in the cold mezze, at the warm somewhat less. I had the aubergines (püriert, baba ganoush) with pomegranate seeds and the teig bags with spinat. in the shortcut a mezze costs so close to 7 euro. the teig bags (4 pieces) were very good. the spinat was pleasantly refined with lemon. the baba ganoush was also delicious, but I was somewhat disappointed that it was only 4 granatapfelkerne on it. if these are mentioned in the description, I expect a significant amount and not only deko. the restaurant is certainly high, both the facility and the service. I did not find it good enough for prices or the portions a little too small. the Lebanese red wine costs 8.90 for 0.2 l. He was good, but I drank cheaper red wines that were better. in the main dishes there is only a vegan dish, couscous with sweet. Conclusion: good, beautiful environment, but not a main restaurant factor.

I ate here with some friends and was so surprised about the beautiful selection of vegan foods on the menu. I had walnut paprika pate (mahumara), spinat hand-peies (sambusik sabanekh) and an aubergine dish (magdous batenjan) everything was simply delicious and extremely fresh! also the portion sizes were good. not cheap and not expensive for what they get. the staff was very nice and the restaurant’s furnishings were also very nice something stylish for a berliner restaurant. updated by previous review on 2019-06-11

Enjoyed so very much. The fish three ways was very yummy. The Kafka (so? was also. Unlike all the area restaurants that don’t last more than 3 years, this has been here for about 12. Check it out

If you're a newcomer to Middle Eastern fare, choose from the selection of five cold or warm Mezes at 23 Euros for two. The selection is superb and I guarantee you won't be able to eat more. Ask the waiter to warm up the bread...when you order. Those who know their Lebanese cooking will find what they are looking for. This upscale but not over-priced restaurant is a favorite among the many Middle Easterners in Berlin. The service is excellent and the location, across the street from Friedrichshain park, is perfect. In the summer dine on the terrace, in the winter inside.

For once the portions looked as nice as on the menu card. We had the cold starter assortment and mixed grill for two. There was plenty for three to share and taste was just perfect.
