フィードバックを提供するWe found this restaurant in Rick Steves' Berlin guidebook. They serve traditional German fare as well as other selections. We both had fish which was excellent. The service was good and the staff very friendly. It's a busy place. We would recommend booking in advance.
Walked from our friends' apartment nearby through an area of families and parks. Enjoyed the food, service and ambience - one of our best meals while visiting Berlin!
During our week in Prenzlauerberg we found several wonderful and fun restaurants - this was one of them. It's in an attractive warm space. The service is absolutely top notch. The Alsatian inspired food is delightful. We had the fried calf's liver and the tuna carpaccio. Both had well selected accompaniments and are worth choosing. It would be nice to go back.
Nice restaurant in a residential neighborhood - upscale service catering to locals. The menu variety was great to accommodate all appetites (we later found beerhalls to have the same repetitive menu). My favorite is the tarte flambé - a very thin crust pizza that goes well with a light salad and cocktails. There is outdoor seating and large windows overlooking the street if you dine indoors. Waiter was particularly attentive (we had a very early dinner that day). About 50 euro for 2 with soup/salad, light entrée and cocktails.
Lovely ambience in the restaurant and great service. We had a salad, pork knuckle and a tarte flambée. Every dish was so delicious that my friend 'blacked out' in a food coma mid way through eating a Tarte Flambée. The best part is that when the bill came, we were so surprise as it ended up being one of the cheapest sit down meals we had in Berlin!
