Cuernavaca - Berlin

I give this Restaurant 3 Stars. The Food was okay but pretty expensive for what it was. I had better Mexican that is for sure. The Service was so so. But they are short staffed lije most places these days. The Cocktails where very bland. Non of us tasted much Alcohol in those drinks. They where a waste of money. I would not go out of my way to go to this Restaurant again. Just came here because of a recommendation. If you want good tasting Cocktails go to Amma those are much better. Overall it was a disappointing Experience.

Very tasty, almost every operation very nice. The one or the other has a snippy spell in stock, even if it's empty in the restaurant... it can be annoying and the mood can be clouded. But the quality of food is very good! The cocktails are also delicious

The perfect place ! Always clean and 5 star service !!!! Exellent!!! So tasty we coming to berlin twice a mounth and we MUST come and eat your perfect steak!!!

We went for dinner at this restaurants with some friends. The quality of the food was fantastic and will go again if we happen to be in the area however, just to be fair, this is Mexican food cooked with German ingredients and most likely...More

The restaurant cuernavaca has existed for several years. so far it was found on the buckower chaussee. in juni 2015 they moved within Berlin-Lichtenrad. now it is located on the light wheel damm 93., an Italian restaurant was on this place. we had the cuernavaca as neat in memory. Nevertheless, we have not been there for a few years since there was too flat earth there was a large, poor room and the toilets were in the 1st og to reach over a wreath staircase. we decided to invite a visit to the restaurant in the new domizil. the first visit – after many years not the first – on a Saturday evening. Although juli, the weather is not invited to sit on the terrace. we found a table inside. around us many tables were occupied, which were visited very well in front of location. after a short time we received the cards. it was asked for the drinks. we have taken a beer. from the barrel there are stones, king ludwig dark, yeast. we took the very esteemed dark beer that we received after some time. there is a large cocktail choice. at certain times is happy hour, then the cocktails are cheaper. the menu had hardly changed. the prices had risen slightly, were still in the average range. Mexican cuisine with nachos, enchiladas, tacos, fajitas and some “typical Mexican dishes”. also steaks, like in the steakhouse, to mount yourself. I remembered that the sopa de tortilla was always very good. I insisted to introduce them. as a guide I took tacos, my companion ordered a burger. to the tacos there should actually be an salat from the buffet that the guests can take. it was said that unfortunately there was no salatbuffet, the salat was put together in the kitchen. the suppe contained a set of bungalows, a little feta cheese and tomate, only unfortunately no crispy tortilla strips as I had in memory. a tortilla store was served that was warm, not crispy. the suppe has tasted very well. the tacos were delicious. they once contained bark, once chicken meat and were baked with cheese. there were rice, sour cream and guacamole. the salad from the kitchen was extensive. my companion tasted his burger who was well occupied. the services were friendly. only we had to catch them in the run of the evening with the leto. they could have looked a little more often. again a déjà vu experience that came to us from earlier known. it took some time to clean our teller. the bartender came by, immediately took our tellers, asked kindly whether everything had tasted, and disappeared with the tellers. apparently the only one who has kept the view. the second visit on Monday evening, a good week later. this time was a beer garden weather. we only have one table. the locals were visited again very well, and that on Monday, this time were two more services on site, which were more experienced at the first visit than their colleagues. the cards were worn on the table after us. After a short time, we were asked about the drinks, the order of eating which we could give up in a reasonable time and the two were always present. there was again sopa de tortilla. this time the dinners were equipped with a crispy tortilla stripe. they tasted delicious again. I ordered enchiladas with rice, sour cream and guacamole, my companion took tacos. the two Enchilada rollers were very well filled. the tacos also wounded. also the two salads that came out of the kitchen were generous. When I entered, I noticed the salat buffet that was not yet put into operation. they were just in a few weeks before place, some dinge have to play in. the native was freshly renovated and makes an inviting impression. There are Mexican deco everywhere; on the summer terrace hanging illuminated masks. the toilets were too grounded. for they were very close, and who is not quite slender must be quite slender. everything was clean and tidy. on every weekday there is a special offer. so were offered on Monday “all they can eat”. from time to time. who wants to celebrate his birthday, there is a discount. we were made by the cuernavaca. some of the things we had noticed in the past few years have been preserved to this day. for example the often very young, inexperienced staff. eating is neat. it is a place for all days, gourmet kitchen should not be expected. overall we can recommend it for a visit. as we need to make some smears (service, waiting time), good 3.5 stars will be forgiven. we'll be back more often.
