Really good food and nice atmosphere. Could recommend if you want to have good steak with reasonable price.

We stayed at the hotel Kastanienhof of which the restaurant is a part. We had dinner outdoors twice during our stay and the food and service were both excellent. Our waiter and bartender treated us very well.

This is a casual, friendly restaurant of what I suppose one would call the "fine dining" variety. The cuisine is modern German, which means German classics done with modern touches. Their Wiener Schnitzel has an airy, savoury crust, nearly perfect. We had a little amuse-bouche of soup (I think it was lentil), whose texture and taste were delicate and creamy. For dessert I had a sort of Kaiserschmarn, revisited, with blueberries: excellent. Nice wines by the glass as well. Charming waiter.

This is a cute little bar, clean and with good decor. We felt the beer selection a little limited however what we did have we good. The only niggle was the back ground music they were playing, only stayed in the bar for two drinks as the music was really irritating.
