Even Stephen Catering - Berlin

This restaurant is a charming gem. The waitress was multitasking between 10 tables and managed to serve food promptly all on her own.

I have been to this restaurant many times and it is a great local spot. It has a nostalgic diner look from the outside. I have never had a bad meal here and I'm not sure why I don't come here more often.

After considering our lunch choices in downtown Berlin, which ranged from greasy pizza to local bars to an Indian buffet, we finally decided on a restaurant.

We never had a bad meal at Even Stephen's. We didn't plan to eat today, but we went home from our daily walk and went right by the dinner. ES has always a few Daily Specials and we decided to share the Crab Cakes with roasted vegetables, mashed spuds and a huge potato pancake with apple sauce and acid cream. She also offered a great dessert choice of a cheesecake sampler or a raspberry crumb cake ala mode. Every bite was delicious and we have made the right choice to share the order as it would have been a choir to carry the rests while the rest of the way to go home. Great news is that ES is ready to open for dinner every evening in the week! If you have never tried the super home style food at ES, you deserve to treat yourself. Prices are always reasonable and portions are very generous. The staff is always warm and friendly and takes you from the moment you arrive at the time you say adios as you are again for a next time.
