Der Bake Oven - Berlin

Good. Please be careful when ordering that the orders be free of any unwanted additives. My words are regarding halal A small, clean, quiet place. The workers are friendly, especially the one who served us food. The prices are average. Water is served with ice and refilled for free. I recommend visiting it.

Over the past few years there has been an exponential growth in coffee shops in the Berlin area. Usually, but not always, associated with a bakery or cafe. This was our first visit to Der Bake Oven and we were very pleased. Pressed ground coffee in a multitude of flavors. A great selection of pastries and pies. Also very fresh. Convenient parking was a big plus. The free donut with a large coffee is a great deal. Staff was friendly and helpful. Restrooms were immaclate. This was our first visit but not our last. PS, the Creamsicle are out of this world. PPS i found several of the lower ratings for Der Bake Oven pretty snarky and unkind. It is possible to leave a negative review that helps the vendor improve and gives customers something to be alert to without being necessarily hurtful. These are people, not punching bags.

Best glazed donut in Amish Country!!! Cafe for breakfast or lunch is great as well fresh and delicious.

Yummy but perhaps overpriced compared to other bakeries in the area. The staff was very kind.

Years ago I gave this place a 5star rating. We returned this weekend and it 's now a 3. The food is OK, but that 's it. My wife got the omelet. The amount of toppings was tiny. I got the quiche. While it tasted good the portion size, for the price, was tiny. It came with a small piece of banana bread, which was dry, and a tiny amount of fruit. The prices seem to have increased more than others, and the quality of the food and portion sizes, has gone down. The only thing that made it a 3, and not a 1, was the service. That was good. We will not be back.
