Love At First Bite Bakery - Berkeley

I am a complete vacuum cleaner for the cupcakes at love at first bite. they are just so good and they have so big decisions! we are crazy about the cookies and cream, salted caramel, and edible butter chocolate among others. their special aromes are also really amazing. if we have to show up with a bread and butter gift, or bring tasty to a party, or just have to make a good impression, the cupcakes of lafb are pleasant to the eye, and they never last long because they are so daring delicious. it would be much easier to lose weight if I would not live so close to this place, but oh good, what kind of going.

Beautiful cupcake, frosting was great. Dry AF. To be fair, it was gluten free. But I've had plenty of delicious gluten free cupcakes that were delicious. This tasted 3 days old.

If I could pick a zero star I would. They gave me half back on the pictures below. As you can see it was a GRADUATION CAKE--kinda a big deal! I have all the emails that described what the cake flavors where to be including the decoration and what was to be written on the GRADUATION CAKE. The only thing that came out right what was to be said on the cake. I got only half back on the cake when they totally failed at give me the cake the young grad deserved. Smh, horrible!

This place was absolutely delicious. I had the ginger vegan cupcake and the frosting was delicious and the cupcake had the perfect amount. There were actual chunks of ginger in the cupcake and it was super moist and delicious. I would definitely come back again.

I was really excited when I saw that this shop had moved from the Walnut Street courtyard to Vine Street. Their new interior is very cute and more spacious. While there isn't any indoor seating, they have two tables with chairs outside. The frosting on the red velvet cupcake was smooth and perfectly sweet and tangy. I wasn't blown away by the cake itself it was a little too dry for me. The chocolate chip cookie was solid. Our furry friend devoured his pupcake with much gusto, so we will definitely be back for that. Maybe we will try a different cupcake flavor next time.
