The restaurant has fantastic food, excellent service, and a wonderful atmosphere! The honey lavender latte is delicious and the gluten free cauliflower crust is outstanding. I highly recommend this place!
This restaurant has experienced a significant decline in quality. After multiple disappointing visits, I felt it was necessary to provide a review. Upon each visit, I am met with the same response when placing my order: "Sorry, we're out of that." This consistent lack of standard ingredients is puzzling. Today, I settled for tacos since they were out of biscuits, only to find that they were not warm. My husband requested his tacos without cheese and received them with cold potatoes. Additionally, he ordered an iced latte but was given a hot one instead. The server lacked basic customer service skills, creating a dismal dining experience. Overall, this restaurant has lost its appeal as a go-to spot for a meal.
I’ve been to the Meteor cafe since it’s opened and never experienced bad customer service until today. I was picking out a bottle of wine to share with my friends and when we finally made a decision to check out, the lady at the counter was very rude when we arrived to the counter. Without a greeting, she immediately asked for my ID, for which I provided. She then asked for my friends’ ID, and they did not have it on them but had photos (of their ID) on their phones. They pulled up the pictures and she, again, rudely checked them and remarked, “does no one carry a real ID anymore?” To which my friend jokingly responds, “I promise I’m old enough to drink!” And she says “barely.” Such uncalled for attitude and rudeness.Next, I ordered 2 additional chai lattes to my tab, and she asked, “are you going to get that wine?” To which I responded, “there’s already a wine charge on my tab for wine.” So, she was about to charge me twice for two wines when I only grabbed one.Someone had previously charged another wine to that tab and she kept adding on to it. It was unprofessional and careless. After I called out her mistake, she did not apologize but proceeded to question her co- worker on who added that charge. She was still rude and did not bother to thank us after we received our chai lattes.EDIT: the manager has reached out to apologize for this experience. I hope to return and have a better experience!
The customer service was Bad (capital B). The woman working behind the counter looked super bored with her job and very annoyed we were even ordering. When asked a simple question (e.g. do you have sugar free options) she would mumble and just randomly rub her finger across a section of the menu. I couldn't really understand her. When she would bring stuff to our table she wouldn't even say anything, or have any form of acknowledgment.I'm glad my wife has better patience for poor service, we almost canceled our order.The taco was okay and the big bec was amazing!Improve customer service and this place would not be that bad.
