Chan's Of Bend

Used to love this place and raved to everyone about it. No service for a good 10 minutes. Prices have gone up, food quality and amount has gone down. BBQ pork was overcooked. Dishes came....ordered GINGER cilantro chicken, ZERO ginger, little cilantro; was room temperature, rice smells and tastes 'interesting '; chicken is tough. Highly disappointing after raving about them for years. Server was like, ?‍ I don 't know This is the second time it 's been not good in the last couple months.

If you are looking for some greasy Chinese after drinking (heavily), the portions at Chan's are great for the money. Otherwise, I don't understand how Chan's is rated so highly. We had just cleaned the bathroom and I can still feel oil between my cheeks. The Hot and Sour soup tasted like sour shouyu soup with mushrooms. Ultimately I am trying to figure out what to do with the remains of our meal. I would give it to the guys loitering around the liquor store but I'm not ready to go to prison yet.

We had the house special combo, which was excellent. There was so much food that we took it to our destination and had it for dinner the next night.

What fabulous chinese food! I ordered a lunch combo of orange chicken plus appetizer bbq pork and dinner size garlic green beans. Plus hot and sour soup. It will feed me for days! Just beware that the menu on the web page is not correct.

Good sizes, flavor and quick delivery service, I love the spring rolls, spicy chicken, noodles and fried rice
