フィードバックを提供するOne of the best yum cha venues in a suburban area, inside Canterbury League Club. Nice ambiance with a soft flowing moat and architecture styled Chinese decor. Decent food attentive service. <br/ <br/ They are undergoing a renovation at the moment and will reopen under new management perhaps after the lockdown. Hope everything will be the same and even better when I return next time.
One of my favourite places to go and enjoy scrumptious Yum Cha with a great variety of dishes. The chicken feet here are excellent. With one of the best Su Mai I have eaten so far. <br/ Also love unwraping an extra perfect sticky rice parcel. Stuffed with amazing flavours of pork mince, egg and of course the best little nugget of joy to grace this perfect pod, Chinese sausage
My fave place to go for yumcha, they got a good selections of dimsums.. went a couple of times for dinner too, taste delicious and portions are very generous. They are not as busy as other yumcha places maybe coz they got pretty big space in the canterbury club. Definitely worth a try! <br/ <br/ Service is really good too, friendly and prompt staffs.
It’s the long weekend and we thought we’d Yum Cha. A quick search said that The Dynasty inside Canterbury Leagues Club was one of the best in Sydney so we decided to battle the crowds and give this place a whirl… except there were no crowds! We were seated, tea and extra chili sauce on table within seconds!<br/ <br/ We went through the standard white-people yum cha selection (aka no chicken feet – even though I love chicken feet in the brown sauce! . The Prawn Cheong Fun (Rice Noodle Rolls were delicious (5/5 . The Shaomai were large and in charge (5/5 . The Har Gow (Prawn Dumplings were what you expect when you order your steamer container (5/5 . The Scallop Steamed Dumplings were probably the least favourite of ours but still went down nicely (3/5 . Finally, the Fried Squid was crispy, spicy, salty and arrived at our table piping hot (5/5 . The prawn dumplings and rice noodle rolls were so delicious that we ordered 2!<br/ <br/ For dessert, we shared some mango and egg goodness! The Egg Tarts were fluffy, creamy, light and delicious (5/5 , the Mango Pancakes were very good, but a little ripe (3/5 and the Mango Pudding was a little bland (2/5 . I feel that by the time we grabbed dessert we were too full to tackle, even though we had spent 90 minutes there already!<br/ <br/ For a yum cha restaurant, the service here is extremely friendly. Everyone had a smile and was very polite and there was no pushing white-people dishes onto our table. We will be back again!
This restaurant is located inside the Canterbury Leagues Club. Slightly dark interior, we were seated not long after getting a number. It's best to get here earlier to avoid waiting a long time for a table. We were celebrating Father's Day so a Chinese yum cha would be a great choice for us. <br/ <br/ Service is pretty good and attended to our requests quite swiftly. The quality of the yum cha items were piping hot and fresh (positioning of your table is important as we were seated near the kitchen where the food was coming out). The standard of yum chas in Sydney are quite variable but this was one of the better ones albeit being slightly pricy for a suburban one. <br/ <br/ Overall very tasty and would re-visit for yum cha again.
