Catfish Cove - Belmont

"I might be a Yankees fan with a ponytail, and I received a few curious looks, but the food was fantastic. I enjoyed the perch and catfish, along with some delicious onion rings. I loved it! Trump '24."

We ordered a large salt and pepper perch plate, and it was extremely satisfying—it had everything we wanted!

I'm relieved that no one inquired about our experience at the restaurant. We ended up taking home 90% of our meal, primarily to feed it to our chickens—though I'm hesitant even to do that. The food had absolutely no flavor, nothing at all worth getting excited about. Additionally, the numerous notices plastered everywhere about salads, catfish, and other items felt completely unnecessary and even somewhat amusing. Overall, everything came off as quite amateurish. I'm really disappointed in this establishment and a bit annoyed that I spent nearly $40 to learn this lesson while still leaving hungry.

Classic southern fish camp experience. This is the best one I've been to. The food is great and there is a good view of the river from the dining room. It's certainly not a fancy place. If I had a complaint, it would be that they are stingy with the hushpuppies. I've never been to a fish camp where they give you so much fish and so few hushpuppies. If I was going to pick out something unusual they do that I really like, I'd say it's the soft drink selection: RC, Sundrop, Cheerwine, etc.

Food was terrible cold and not good .tea was sour .I would never eat there again.
