フィードバックを提供するIts not Tennessee. Its not North Carolina. Its not Texas. Who the F cares. Its the jersey shore, with the most delicious bbq pork ribs, bbq beef ribs, beans, cucumber salad...and fn awesome bbq sliced brisket. Its the jersey shore. Its a must-hit bbq joint. Its America.
There 's something about proximity to water (and the tourist trade) that encourages mediocrity. Mouth watering descriptions overflow the plate but the actual portions are fit for a supermodel. The mac and cheese was creamy but the buffalo quesadilla was about as dry as a Bavarian comedy club. High marks for the Caesar salad nudges our lunchtime adventure up to a three but my Magic 8 Ball reports that prospects for a return visit remain cloudy at best.
Pretty good spot for bbq. They have a ton of options to choose from. To make it easy we did the 3 meat sampler with a bunch of sides. For the meat we got ribs, pulled pork, and brisket. My favorite was definitely the ribs. They offer 6 different types of sauces which is perfect because I like a little meat with all the sauce. The corn bread was fantastic- very fresh so I was highly impressed. We also split a side of mac n cheese unfortunately I could not have any so I have no opinion. However we had the sweet potato fries and they were excellent they kind of reminded me of being tempura fried- they were sweet too. I would go back just wish it was a little closer
I was really craving barbecue and have always wanted to check out Jersey Shore BBQ. The interior is small but they're definitely able to fit a lot of people in. There was quite a wait (since it was a Saturday night) so we decided to do take out. Of course we waited a little too long to order because they were out of brisket.. They were also out of the smoked turkey. If that tells you anything, the food must be great! While we were waiting for our food to be prepared, I noticed that it's a BYOB. Don't worry there's a liquor store right around the corner. Due to the shortage of brisket of the night, we decided to order the Monmouth trifecta. It comes with 3 meats, 2 sides and a piece of cornbread. In our trifecta, we chose the kielbasa, the ribs and pulled pork. We also selected the bacon potato salad and the macaroni and cheese for our sides. Additionally, we got the tomato and cucumber salad. Overall, the food was really good. Of the meat, my favorite was the kielbasa. The mac and cheese was delicious and I highly recommend it. If you're in the Belmar area and want to have some BBQ, go head to Jersey Shore BBQ. My tip would be to go early in the day for the most selection.
The food was AMAZING!! I'm still dreaming of the candied bacon!! The man taking our order wasn't very friendly..that's why I'm giving 4 starts.
