D'jais Oceanview Cafe - BELMAR

We were recommended to try this place, and we absolutely loved it! Since we're from out of state, I was looking for a souvenir, and Alexa was incredibly helpful in helping me choose the perfect shirt for both me and my wife. She was friendly and approachable, making our experience even better. It's a fantastic spot, and we definitely plan to come back!

It's a classic spot on the Jersey shore. The vibe is always lively with club music playing at any time. There are both indoor and outdoor areas, along with a few bars and some fun games to try. I spotted a worker wearing an adorable Barbie-themed D'Jais shirt that I wanted to buy, but unfortunately, I couldn’t find it for sale. Just a heads-up, the bars and cover charge are cash only. There's also a restaurant connected to the venue that offers a lovely view of the beach, but I think most people are there for the music and dancing.

I visited for lunch on a weekday, and the place was quite empty, which unfortunately meant the service wasn't up to par. We ordered the poke wraps but requested spicy mayo instead of the wasabi sauce, and they ended up forgetting it. We didn't make a fuss and just ordered it on the side, but our server seemed a bit dismissive about it. On a positive note, the Miami Vice I had was the best I've ever tasted—so creamy and just right, with no icy texture at all. The fries were also fantastic. Just a heads up, parking can be tricky, so plan accordingly! Additionally, this place becomes really busy in the summer, so be prepared for potential waits on weekends and in the evenings.

Got the Greek salad with chicken, fried calamari, shrimp cocktail (was a bit disappointed there was only 5 for $16.50).

1st time ever here. Came on a Christmas theme club night. I had a blast! The bartenders are amazing. Drinks are good. CASH ONLY.... IT'S A PAIN IN THE ____ Great music! They need more Spanish mix in the EDM. Love the outside space to get some air. This place needs AIR-CONDITIONING!!! It smells like a nasty gym locker.
