フィードバックを提供するThis is an excellent bar for enjoying live music! We stopped by for some drinks before heading to a nearby restaurant, and it was a great way to catch up. The band, "The Almost Brothers," was fantastic—lively and fun with lots of talent! The ambiance is good, with social distancing measures in place, but you can still dance as long as you're wearing a mask. Overall, we had a wonderful time!
I visited the restaurant during the summer, and the owner, Kevin Sheehan, approached me to ask for money to help keep his establishment running during Covid. I found this quite shocking, as I don’t know him personally. Additionally, the restaurant was dirty, and the tables had clearly not been cleaned.
I've been to Farrell's before when I used to drink, but my recent visit was for karaoke and I was sober this time. I'm not certain if they have karaoke on other nights, but currently, they host it on Thursdays with a live band. Karaoke with a live band is a unique experience—it's something to get used to, but it was enjoyable. Right now, the bar is set up to accommodate different groups, with plexiglass partitions separating each table. When participating in karaoke, you're required to sanitize your hands and use a microphone cover, which you can either bring yourself or use the ones they provide. As for the food, they have some decent options available. The bartender made me a lovely virgin bay breeze when I mentioned that I don't drink. I do wish they served coffee here; I'm a bit of a coffee addict and wish every bar offered it. The bathroom was also quite interesting and beautifully designed. Overall, I would recommend this bar, especially from the perspective of a sober visitor!
Visited with a group of friends to hear a local band. Band was great, establishment not so much. Our server was very nice but it seemed as if they could have used more staff on the floor as all 3 of the servers were super busy. The food though, was abysmal. Similar to what I would expect in a roller rink or bowling alley, it was all fried, over processed items like fries, pizza, wings. We ordered the Reuben egg rolls and the cheesesteak egg rolls. Both were fried to such an extent that one could t tell which was which. The sauce that accompanied the cheesesteak egg roll was made with cubed bouillon. We also ordered chicken fingers, mozzarella sticks and chicken tacos. The only item that was decent were the mozzarella sticks. The chicken tacos were inedible and we didn't touch them. Lastly, the space needs a deep clean. Our table was super sticky and the ceiling in our corner was covered in dust.
This bar is a larger size for your average bar. There is table and booth seating as well as bar seating if to you opt to dine in. The menu is a good size, but can be hit or miss depending on who is cooking. The draft beer always tastes good as they clean their lines. The place is normally on the clean side. This venue has a stage and live music regularly. There is a back patio you can venture on and bring your drink. Staff is always friendly.
