Famous Dave's -b-que - Bellevue

Always a great experience! I love the food here! The meat is always beautiful and juicy, and the chopped boar is another favorite of mine. The coleslaw is also fantastic. I do have to deduct a star because the potato salad is no longer on the menu—what happened there?

I found the barbecue to be decent, though not as impressive as what Kansas City offers. However, my experience was significantly marred when they mishandled a birthday party I had planned. I reserved a room for 50 people a month and a half in advance and confirmed the reservation with them twice leading up to the event. Yet, when I arrived early, they had no record of our party in their system. After that kind of experience, I don't plan to return. Once bitten, twice shy.

Showed up unannounced for lunch with 10 people and they were very accommodating. Great food, waiter and service. Haven't been here in a few years but such a nice experience I will certainly be back again soon.

From the minute we walked in, everybody was smiling and kind. Beautiful dark haired gal greeted us. We had a terrific, efficient waitress, Aaliyah. Food was delicious! I would highly recommend.
