Baguette Epicerie - Bellevue

My wife ordered the avocado toast and really enjoyed it. It’s not the kind of meal I typically go for, but everyone has their preferences. The restaurant is located in the food court of Lincoln Square, and finding a table can be a bit challenging at times.

I absolutely love the avocado toast, especially because I can request it without the pistachios. I keep ordering it because it's perfectly lemony—please don’t change that! I also really enjoy the soft-boiled egg; that’s a must-keep as well. The BLT is fantastic, with perfectly cooked bacon, delightful unexpected condiments, and wonderfully toasted bread topped with super fresh tomatoes. Don’t let the jam on it scare you away! It might take a while for your food to arrive, but both dishes are absolutely worth the wait for me. My husband really enjoys the roast beef sandwich and the mini breakfast sandwich rolls. I tried the artichoke soup once, but the bowl was way too large for a portion, and at that time, a smaller cup wasn’t available. It could have used more pepper, so I hope they’ve improved that since!

Situated in a charming food court near Nordstrom Rack, I decided to stop by for a quick meal while I was shopping. I ordered the avocado toast, which was priced around $10. As this was my first time ordering avocado toast rather than making it myself, I had high expectations given the price. Unfortunately, I found it to be only passable and not worth the cost. While the presentation was lovely, all the ingredients were served cold. I think the dish would benefit more from a runny egg yolk instead of a soft boiled egg. Additionally, there was an overwhelming amount of acidity, possibly from lemon. If I'm in the area again, I would likely choose a different dish, as this one did not impress me.

Laughably disgruntled service. I actually was mid order and they looked like the last thing they wanted to do was take it, so I stopped, thanked them for their time and left.

S-A-L-T-Y food, overpriced, and overrated. Much like many of the food court restaurants in Lincoln square. The pictures on their electronic displays look way better than what they actually serve you. I ordered a combo with avocado toast and a tiny salad. It was 10.00 and I got HALF of a hard boiled egg on my toast, I repeat half.
