American Heroes - Bellevue

My first time trying this place. The club sandwich is pretty good. Way better once I added the lettuce, tomatoes and onions to it. Needed more then the one packet of mayo to make it less dry but overall good. Not a huge fan of the potato salad (too plain for me) and the cookie was a bit on the hard side but good flavor- not burnt!All in all, I'd do a few things differently on my next order but I would order again in the future.

I try to support the local small companies, but the sandwiches here are not good. I ordered the French Dip and philly cheese soup. The bread is store bought and the roast beef is just plain sliced deli meat with only a few thin slices. The soup was just ok. The staff was courteous, but I will not be going back.

Wow, I have so much good to say about this little sandwich shop...super friendly lady helping us, very clean, fast and the sandwiches...soo good!! But let me tell you about the deliciousness of my sandwich...it was called the whole hog...tender succulent pulled pork..delicious bacon...topped with cold crunchy slaw...spicy jalapenos...ranch and this to die for BBQ sauce...such a perfect sandwich...and enough for two people! Oh...and yes it is a two handed properly sloppy sandwich..but...they have giant napkins!!!

Owners Claudia and Jeo are just about two of the nicest, hardest working people you'll ever meet. I highly recommend American Heroes! Seriously the Chicken and Bacon sandwich might just be one of the best sandwiches I've ever had in my life.
