Serendipity Tea Room And Cafe

Serendipity Tea Room and Cafe is by far my favorite tea room in the larger Pittsburgh area! The place is immaculate, the decor is charming, the food is delicious, and the service is gorgeous. Each room is a little different, which makes everyone special. They are offered for sale with Darling collection products, both new and vintage, and tea accents. And of course I want everything! I appreciate the nice table setting with all the small extras like tea bag pressers and teapot warmers. You're just thinking about everything! I don't care how the tea bags over loose leaves so, I'm able to enjoy different teas in the course of my experience, rather than included in a taste. Our server was personal and accommodating. My friend had food restrictions and there was no problem at all. The menu has a nice selection of tea party options, salads, sandwiches, desserts and even a children's menu. Today I ordered the lite tea.. There were 4 Scones options and 5 or 6 dessert options in addition to ice, of which there were numerous flavors to choose from. My only suggestion is to offer a different salad protein option than chicken. Maybe a **** of tuna or egg salad? Thanks for a nice afternoon. Great experience, great value! I've always wanted to go here and finally had to visit last week. It took a few days, but I had to take the time to leave my review. This tea room was worth waiting! Quaint and cozy with great food and service! Try it and I bet you will like it as much as I do!

I brought my grandmother here. The first time for both of us and it was so wonderful. The service was great. The lit tea service was so full and everything was fresh and beautiful. The decor of the place is so sweet and the China is beautiful that they serve our food on and tea. They were so attentive and will definitely come back.

Hidden jewel in the Mon Valley. That's a nice place for lunch. Our high tea was delicious and service was wonderful. Would recommend everyone!

I've been here for almost every birthday since I was 6 and I've never had a bad experience. Today, I got to celebrate my 18th birthday with them, and we had a wonderful time!
