Came here for our traditional Hibachi barbecue experience with friends from Houston. We had a table for us (group 4 adults and 4 children). The food was great, most of us had either scallops, shrimps or steak with fried rice. I missed the traditional shrimp sauce, but it seems like other places don't offer anymore. Our cook was funny and made the kids amaze. The service was attentive and fast.
Very pleasant experience overall. Very polite servers that were here to answer questions and bring extra sauces. My roles: California and Philadelphia have not disappointed, and I especially recommend the Philadelphia, as the salmon was completely different than anything I previously cost. Nice service, nice food, would come back. 8/10 Jayce
Wear hibachi ordered from here. The order was ready when we arrived. We had 3 separate orders, all were correct. The shares were low compared to the price paid. They put a pack of soy sauces per meal. I didn't eat the salad, it was only iceberg salad. The ginger dressing for the meal was perfect. Fried rice is an additional 3.50 per meal. Meals come with white steamed rice.
Our overall experience was just ok. We've been to a few Hibachi grills so we are aware of the process. We made reservations but our table wasn't ready when we got there, no big deal BUT there was no communication or apology. Once seated our waiter was lacking in basic knowledge and information about the menu. Our drinks took the longest to arrive and we had to ask other servers to find our server to get even a water refill. Our Hibachi chef was good but the food was just average if that. We do understand that we are still in a pandemic but it certainly should not affect the food quality!
