It's an excellent stop for travelers, whether you're returning or heading out to explore the Kais or continuing your journey by bus to another part of the country. The prices are very reasonable, and the food has a unique touch. You won’t regret stopping by from the docks or bus stations for a meal. I highly recommend the cockroach soup and the lamb curry!
This restaurant offers great value for money. For lunch, I had the conch soup served with tears (I believe this was a typo or local expression for something), borons, and coleslaw. The next day, I tried the king stuffed fish, and both dishes were excellent and served hot. The portions were generous, leaving me with leftovers for an afternoon snack. I would definitely come back and recommend this place! If I had a preference, I would choose potato salad over coleslaw. Thank you for having me!
It was my first visit, and I was truly impressed by the friendly and efficient staff. The food was authentically Belizean. I had "drowned" fish with fried plantains, white rice, and coleslaw. I also enjoyed a refreshing glass of tamarind juice. Be sure to take the time to relax and enjoy the terrace on the upper floor!
Small restaurant recommended by locals. clean, delicious food, great prices. wonderful place.
Breakfast was fast and delicious, definitely recommend if you want a traditional Belizean breakfast!
